How to Instantly Find Older Documents

Older documents can become buried in other files, and tracking them down can waste valuable time. Using Copernic’s refinements and select phrasing can help you narrow the field in a matter of seconds.

In our first search, we just searched for the word “Quote.” This nets over 1,400 documents. Far too many to locate what you need.

We further adjust our search and add “AND USD” to our search phrase because we know the quotes we need are in USD.

This brings our results down quite a bit, but still too many documents to weed through.

The first refinement we use is File Type because all the quotes we need are in PDF format.

Our final refinement is using the Date option. We know we need all quotes from those that were created prior to August 1, 2024. Using that date as our refinement will significantly narrow our search.
